Your Next Shift: A Nursing Career Podcast

Dec 14, 2016

Wow, week after week, I find myself even more motivated than the last. This next guest has it all. Introspection. Vision and dream work. And of course, most importantly, a take action mentality.

A few take aways from our interview with Tim include:

  • How healthcare is ripe for disruption… and what that really means to us as nurses;
  • Why he calls his career arrival in nursing a ‘bent arrow’ story;
  • And what professional habit you NEED to be doing to be successful in nursing!

Tim Raderstorf, MSN, RN has the honor of serving as the first Chief Innovation Officer at The Ohio State University College of Nursing, where he also is a Clinical Instructor of Practice and DNP student. Tim’s healthcare experience spans from neurosurgical research on Tethered Spinal Cord Syndrome, designing clinical spaces, developing educational programs to improve skills of the healthcare workforce in India, and transitioning organizations into new physical locations.  His true passion lies within the development of novel commercial innovations to enhance patient outcomes. Outside of his role at OSU, Raderstorf owns with small real estate firm, volunteers at Flying Horse Farms, a camp for children with serious illnesses, and is an avid curator of curiosity.
